Update on chikungunya fever in Hong Kong

香港でチクングニア熱の輸入症例を新たに確認　政府が蚊対策を強化

香港当局は、広東省の中山と広州を訪れていた67歳女性のチクングニア熱輸入症例を新たに確認したと発表した。

女性は11月28日に関節痛を発症し、検査でウイルス陽性となり、現在は蚊のいない環境で入院中で容体は安定している。

5人の同居家族と5人の旅行同行者は無症状だが、医学的観察下にある。

香港では今年74例が報告され、そのうち6例が地域感染例となっている。

世界的にも流行が続いており、政府は蚊の防除を強化し、虫よけの使用とたまり水の除去を市民に呼びかけている。
