520兆円市場が世界の運用会社を魅了

🔸若年層の長期投資が急拡大
インドの個人投資家による投資信託資産は、2035年までに300兆ルピー(520兆円)に達する見込みです。

これは2025年度の45兆ルピーから大幅な成長となります。
給与所得者のミレニアル世代やZ世代が、投資信託を通じた長期投資を積極的に行っているためです。

🔸世界の運用会社が相次ぎ参入、IPOも活況
世界最大の運用会社であるブラックロック $BLK が、今年インド市場に再参入しました。

同社は7月に3つのファンドで21億ドル超を集めるなど、好調なスタートを切っています。
また米国や韓国のグローバル企業が、インドでの上場を検討する動きも活発化しています。

🔸家計の金融資産シフトが投資ブームを後押し
インドの中央銀行によると、家計の金融資産に占める投資信託の割合が急上昇しました。

2012年度の0.9%から2023年3月期には6%まで増加しています。
定期的な少額投資を行うSIP(積立投資計画)は、2021年度から2025年度で3倍の2.89兆ルピーに達しました。

Sipeed については今も昔もニュートラルだし開発基板も持っているが、開発の道具ではない「プロダクト」に求められる体験に対してマイクが載っているのは不可解であったり、以前に NanoKVM の導入を検討した時期もあったことから自分は言及した。

「公式ページを見ればわかる」「仕様を読めばわかる」「コンテキストを知っていればわかる」は確かにそう。あの記事を書いた人物や翻訳した GIGAZINE の書きぶりが市井の認識を揺らがせたのもそう。

しかし、まず「完成されたプロダクト」を世に送り出す出発点として、ポテンシャルのある顧客が製品そのものの前にブランドを認知していることを期待するのはおかしい。ましてその中の組成を気にするのは世の中全体で当たり前なことではない。

技術者の界隈から見て他にないプレゼンスを持つ Sipeed を守りたい人々の気持ちはとてもわかるが、「プロダクト」を出しているのならプロダクト相応の体験や印象を作らなければならないのは当然。擁護するにしてもまず「お前が無知なのが悪い」とするのはやめたらいいのでは？ December 12, 2025
