【空気感染に立ち向かう唯一の盾 高性能マスクと正しいフィットが社会を守る N95やKF94でも装着不良なら効果半減】
🟥 背景と目的
🔹COVID-19 は空気感染性が高く、軽症でも肺・脳・心臓・腎臓などに長期的な健康影響（ロングCOVID）を引き起こすおそれがある。したがって、空気を共有しない対策がもっとも有効な手段の一つである。これには、換気、マスク（特にフィットの良い高性能マスク）、ワクチン接種の併用が重要である。
🟥 マスクの役割とフィットの重要性
🔹マスクや防じんマスクは、呼気・吸気の際のウイルス粒子をろ過することで感染リスクを低減させる。ただし、マスクと顔の間に隙間があると未ろ過の空気が漏れてしまい、十分な防護効果が得られない。したがって、N95、KN95、KF94、FFP2、エラストメリック型（工業用の再利用可能な高密閉マスク）などの高性能マスクで、かつ顔にぴったり密着させることが重要である。
🟥 効果を高める「Do’s（やるべきこと）」
🔹高性能マスク（N95, KN95, KF94, FFP2, エラストメリック型）を選ぶ。なければ多層構造の高品質フィルター付きマスクを用いる。フェースフィッターやブレースで密着性を高める。
🔹マスクは清潔な手で耳掛けやヘッドストラップ部分を扱い、内側外側には触れない。
🔹顔に沿わせるため、ひげは剃るか短く整える。ひげを維持する場合はフィッター使用を推奨。
🔹人との共用空間においては常に鼻と口を覆うこと。飲食時でも、屋外や換気のよい場所で仮着脱し、できる限りマスク時間を短くする。口に物を入れた際はすぐにマスクを戻す。
🟥 避けるべき「Don’ts（やってはいけないこと）」
🔹フィットが悪く隙間がある、あるいは湿っている・汚れている・破損した・呼吸が困難なマスクを使用してはならない。
🔹会話中や着席時にマスクを外すのは厳禁。距離があっても空気を共有しているため危険である。
🔹話す際に近づいたり、大音量の環境を作ったりして飛沫量を増やすことは避ける。
🔹屋内飲食では混雑・換気不良の場所を避け、長時間滞在しない、飲食以外の間はマスクを外さないことが望ましい。
🟥 フィットテストと調整方法
🔹ノーズワイヤーを鼻筋に沿わせて密着させ、KN95の折り目は平らにして鼻山の隙間を防ぐ。ストラップは耳の上下に配置する。
🔹強く息を吸って隙間から冷気を感じたらフィット不良の兆候である。吐いても漏れがあれば調整が必要。
🔹ストラップアジャスターやイヤーループトグル、外部フィッターを活用し、ノット＆タック技法にも注意。ただし、マスクの内側に含まれるブランケット型サポーターはフィットを悪化させる恐れがある。
🔹眼鏡の曇りや目の乾燥は上部からの漏気を示唆するため、顔面テープなども有用である。調整後も漏れがある場合は別モデルのマスクを試すべきである。
🟥 眼の保護も考慮すべき
🔹空気中の飛沫粒子による感染は目からも起こる可能性がある。曇らないゴーグルやアイプロテクション、さらには通常の眼鏡でも一定の防御効果を提供する。
