"Escort Vessel""Escort Ship"
Excuse me for commenting.
The first thing I noticed right away was that
the Japanese pronunciation of “Japan” doesn’t sound like “Japan” in English at all.
And in Japan, we don’t call them “warships.”
We call them “escort vessels” or “escort ships” — in Japanese, 護衛艦 (gōeikan).
We never use terms like 軍艦 (gungkan, warship) or 戦艦 (senkan, battleship).
That’s because of Article 9 of the Constitution, you know.
Or we just refer to them by their ship names.
By the way, where did this sudden appearance of a “Japanese warship” even come from?
If a training exercise or operation involving Japanese vessels were actually taking place, it would be a major issue, so the Japanese Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs would definitely be notified in advance.
The information wouldn’t be transmitted directly to the ship on site — it would always go through the Ministry of Defense to the escort vessel beforehand.
By this point, pretty much every single person in Japan had already predicted that this would be fabricated.
Or rather, it’s more like the entire nation was waiting for it to happen.
This woman’s English is absolutely, unequivocally not Japanese-accented English.
Since Japanese has strong vowels, we don’t pronounce English with our mouths half-closed like in Chinese.
We open our mouths wider and produce that typical katakana-style English pronunciation.
This is 100% the accent of a Chinese person speaking English.
They might as well have just grabbed some random Chinese person in Japan, had them speak English, and recorded it.
If it were me, that’s exactly the level of detail I’d think through.
So there’s a chance this wasn’t a state-level fabrication after all.
It might just be something an individual put together.
But if this actually was orchestrated by the government (meaning China),
then every single move by the Chinese Communist Party is just way too obvious and transparent.
Personally, that makes me suspect there’s something deeper—maybe even a double or triple bluff.
The “reverse of the reverse” just brings you back to the surface—that’s basic strategy when setting traps.
If they’re not even thinking two steps ahead like that,
their thinking is honestly pretty weak for a nation-state operation.
The idea that a country could pull something this clumsy is, on the contrary, what feels uncanny and almost frightening. December 12, 2025
