世界中でやってる事じゃないなに

President Trump said on Sunday that he has decided who he will nominate for the next Federal Reserve Chairman. The president indicated that he expects the candidate to move toward lowering interest rates. He reiterated, "I know who I'm going to choose," and added, "I'll make an announcement in the future." He did not reveal who he will choose.

Last week, some reports suggested that National Economic Council Chairman Hassett was the leading candidate among President Trump's aides and allies.

On a television program the day before, Hassett refrained from commenting, describing last week's reports as "rumors." However, Hassett noted that the market reacted favorably to the news that President Trump's nomination was imminent. "I think it's fair to expect President Trump to choose someone who will make car loans cheaper and mortgages more accessible at low interest rates," he said. "That's exactly what we've seen in the market's reaction to the rumors about me."

Treasury Secretary Bessent, who is overseeing the selection process for the next Fed chairman, said last week that President Trump could announce his nominee before Christmas.

Other finalists include Fed Governor Waller, Fed Vice Chairman for Supervision Bowman, former Fed Governor Warsh, and BlackRock executive John Reeder.
